Uvalde Memorial Hospital and RTG Break Ground on New Multi-Specialty Medical Facility
Uvalde, TX – Uvalde Memorial Hospital, in partnership with Realty Trust Group (RTG), celebrated the groundbreaking of its new three-story, 86,000-square-foot multi-specialty medical facility on March 26, 2025, at 1195 Garner Field Road in Uvalde, Texas. The new facility is designed to expand access to state-of-the-art healthcare services for the City of Uvalde and its surrounding communities.
“This groundbreaking marks a significant milestone in our commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare to the residents of Uvalde,” said Adam Apolinar, CEO. “As our community continues to grow, this facility will ensure we can meet the increasing demand for specialized care close to home. This expansion is another service in line with keeping Uvalde Memorial Hospital as a center of excellence.”
The new medical facility will offer a variety of essential healthcare services, including primary care, orthopedics, urology, cardiology, and imaging services. By consolidating these specialties under one roof, the hospital aims to provide more convenient access to comprehensive care for patients in the region.
With completion scheduled for Summer 2026, this project represents Phase One of a larger five-phase master plan that will not only modernize existing hospital facilities but also introduce nature trails and a community recreational facility, enhancing overall wellness opportunities for local residents.
The medical facility is strategically located on the Uvalde Memorial Hospital campus, ensuring seamless integration with existing hospital services and enhancing patient convenience.
